Luuka Plastics Ltd

Luuka Plastics was initially established in 1986 as a general trading company. Later in 1993, the company concentrated on dealing in a variety of flexible packaging bags in polythene & polypropylene (PP) that were in a finished form.

Luuka Plastics Ltd was thereafter established as a factory in 2004 and now is engaged in production of films and fabrics from basic raw materials consisting of granules, that is, polyethylene and polypropylene raffia.

In 2004 the company transitioned to packaging production starting with one small extruder, printing machine and cutting machine.

Luuka Plastics Ltd is the largest packaging company in Uganda delivering top quality products and services to its customers in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo and South Sudan.

Luuka Plastics Ltd follows international standards of quality control with ISO900 2015 certification producing tailor made packaging for a huge variety of foodstuffs & confectionary, fast moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical products, personal hygiene products and much more. Luuka Plastics Ltd solutions incorporate high quality laminates with registered cold seal, hot filled laminates, all types of pouches, shrink sleeves, foils, customer options are almost endless.

Luuka Plastics Ltd's state-of-the-art production facilities consist of high-quality co-extruders, pp-extruders and mono layer extrusion. Luuka Plastics Ltd's flexible packaging printing machines include gravure printing machines, CI flexographic printing, and stack type flexo printing.
