6th African Dermatopathology Conference (ADPC) 2020

Welcome to the 6th African Dermatopathology Conference (ADPC) 2020 at the Regional Dermatology Training Centre (RDTC), at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), in Moshi, Tanzania!

In the past five years, we have had several successful ADPCs in Moshi, the last one in Kigali, Rwanda. In the past editions we welcomed more than 40 participants from more than 10 African countries and from all continents, 60% dermatologists and 40% pathologists. A lively interactive program resulted in numerous discussions about diagnosis of skin diseases.

The excellent collaboration with the RDTC allows us to host the 6th African Dermatopathology Conference (ADPC) 2020 in a beautiful location and perfect timing. In fact, the annual RDTC International Dermatology Conference will follow on the next three days (January 8th - 10th 2020). This will be a conference on Skin Diseases, Leprosy, HIV/AIDS and other STIs and Public Health Dermatology, with Reunion of Past and Postgraduates.

2020 will be a particularly exciting year because the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) is also organizing a Tropical Dermatology in Tanzania 2020 Meeting at the RDTC directly after the conferences (January 11th - 13th 2020).

We are looking forward to an extremely exciting combination of three conferences in Moshi, especially we want to share with you the stimulating scientific program of the 6th African Dermatopathology Conference: there will be lectures on several skin diseases, especially with clinical-pathologic al correlation, interesting cases presentations, and the famous "Dermatopathology Games". The conference will bring together as usual several international experts to share professional experiences, knowledge and skills in order to improve patient care.

Since 2016, the "African Dermatopathology Society" (ADPS) is having the yearly meeting at the end of the conference. All conference participants are welcome to join the society.
