Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS) 2024

Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS) is the world's premier forum for African agriculture and food systems, bringing together stakeholders to take practical action and share lessons that will move African food systems forward.

Hosted by the Government of Rwanda and the AFS Forum Partner’s Group, the Africa Food Systems Forum is the world largest annual summit on agriculture and food systems on the continent. This year, the annual summit will spotlight the continental agenda on food systems, showcase innovative approaches, solutions, proven business models, best practices and latest technologies that could transform agriculture and food systems to ensure food and nutrition security in Africa while creating jobs and opportunities youth and women.

Africa Food System Forum’s priorities areas are underpinned by three delivery pillars:

• The Annual Summit - The Africa Food Systems Forum annual summit convenes stakeholders in agriculture and food systems, driving collaboration and coordination.
• Technical Assistance - Africa Food Systems Forum’s thematic platforms serve as comprehensive hubs for data and knowledge sharing and offer analytical and technical advisory support based on local, national and regional expertise and data systems and demand.
• The Financing Platform - The financing platform is a collaborative space that serves as a hub for MSMEs, public authorities and investors to drive food system transformation.
