"Accessibility, affordability and sustainability" - How the African insurance sector can broaden the reach of universal healthcare
Our series of events aims to explain to our audience "how" they can tackle the challenges faced by all market participants and stakeholders involved in the use of health insurance as a healthcare system financing tool. This is a series of "quality not quantity events" held in regions of the developing world including West Africa, East Africa, Middle East and Latin America. We bring together speakers with international experience and those who are based in each region to deliver a regionally focused event. Our events will be attractive to health ministries, health regulators, insurers, reinsurers, claims administrators, insurance intermediaries, healthcare providers, and those interested in telehealth including banks and telcos.
All of the challenges for Africa can be resolved into three themes that are relevant to insurers, claims administrators, employers, individuals, regulators and healthcare providers, namely Accessibility, Affordability and Sustainability. These themes are the core of your event program.
Many of our speakers will have experience of speaking at conferences around the globe and will generally be high level executives who can bring their globally acquired experience to our audience.
We can learn from speakers who not only have international experience but who have experience of markets with different challenges. For example, the opportunity for knowledge transfer between speakers from outside the region and West African based delegates is enormous.
We expect the forum to be attended by insurers and reinsurers, intermediaries, regulators, IT firms and telcos and hopefully some healthcare providers.
