Al Arabia is a privately held holding company, located in Mogadishu Somalia, it is one of the leading suppliers of construction materials and space furnishing to large number of contractors in Somalia.

Al Arabia was founded in 2004. Since then the company has evolved from few employees to a 200 strong employees company, during the first ten years of our existence we operated as Arab General Trading Company. In 2014 the need to do corporate rebranding arose, after which the company was renamed Al Arabia General Trading Company and incorporated henceforth.

Our wholesale building material supplies began with a handful of employees and has significantly grown, today Al Arabia General Trading Company occupy over 200,000 square feet of office and warehouse spaces.

Since 2010 Al Arabia General Trading Company has been expanding our corporate portfolio. The Company has evolved to become a key supplier of construction materials, Hardware tools, Electrics, Sanitary Ware and Furniture.

Our warehouses are abundantly filled with various branded products which are presently distributed to our customers by the company´s fleet of 15 trucks.
